Everything we do at The Main Company is built on a love for interiors, design and craftsmanship. People come to us for originality and this is delivered by the materials that we are able to offer and the skills within our workshop, enabling us to build anything that is required by our clients.
Our workshops are where the creative process takes over. The workshops consist of: a painting studio (surrounded with hundreds of Little Greene Paint tins), a construction and building workshop where our beautiful bespoke cabinetry and furniture is put together, and a separate workshop over two floors dedicated to the making and processing of our wooden flooring and cladding.
We are conscious of our environmental footprint, we salvage wood from old barns, factories and warehouses. Some of this timber is hundreds of years old and we refresh it with a new life. For instance the timber we have used salvaged from old distillery factories and cotton mills has inspired the names for many of our products such as ‘distillery oak’ and ‘cotton mill board’.
The reclaimed wood is restored in our workshops and turned into bespoke kitchen cabinetry, furniture, sliding doors, flooring and wall cladding. No piece of reclaimed wood is ever the same, each piece is restored carefully, without compromising its original character.
Our highly experienced team of craftsmen and creative designers work hard and carefully to ensure the making of your kitchen is a smooth process, perfectly delivered and all on time.?Made up of experienced woodsmen, joiners and painters, some of whom have been with us for many years, our skilled team are devoted to the meticulous craftsmanship that allows us to create beautiful bespoke, tailor-made products. We make carcasses from scratch, we restore original furniture and find just the right piece of period wood to integrate into a design.
Each and every one of our creations illustrates our commitment to quality and artistry.
Alongside our showroom we have our design studio, made up of a team of expert designers and local specialists. Our little studio is where our ideas come to fruition, where we discuss all of our ideas and sketch them up, transforming them into an exciting vision for our clients. We have worked on a range of projects; from designing one off pieces of furniture to bespoke kitchens to major renovation projects where we have provided all areas of our expertise – flooring, wall cladding, kitchens and furniture.
We offer an impeccable service to all of our clients and customers, which includes a bespoke design service with our professional design team – for free, and not to forget our aftercare service and lifetime guarantee.
